Our History
- 1922 - 1957
Founded in 1922 by Maisie McDougall & Mary Thompson who posted letters through the doors in Buckhurst Hill and Woodford Green to advertise. Greek Dance and Classical Ballet were started at All Saints Church Hall Woodford Green, and St John’s Centenary Hall Buckhurst Hill.

Ballet classes taught by Mary Saul
- 1948 - 1950
Classical Ballet Classes taught by Priscilla and Elisabeth Fry they were known as the ‘Fry Twins’ now Priscilla De Meric and Elisabeth
- 1950 - 1972
Cecchetti Classical Ballet taught by Barbara Geoghegan
- 1957 - 1967
Classical Greek Classes by Claire Lawson and Doreen Locks
- 1967
Claire Lawson retired and Sonia Bond started teaching in the school
- 1971
Barbara Geoghegan retired and Juliet Locks and Sonia Bond taught Cecchetti Ballet section. Juliet also introduced Modern dance classes.
